New York is split up into five districts usually called boroughs, which are Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Staten Island and Queens. Their boundaries are not official and change from time to time. We begin our virtual tour from Manhattan, starting from the Meatpacking district of New York. It is a constantly in flux area that is located in the far west side of Manhattan. In the last 20 years Meatpacking district have become the home for graphic designers, architects, artists, fashion stylists and restauranteurs who made the districts one of the favourite destinations for tourists thanks to its charming way of life. Here creativity reigns and the nightlife is very enjoyable. Since the Whitney Museum opened here in the district in 2015, the visitors’ flow is increasing year on year.
Among the city’s boroughs, there are another one district in Manhattan too, that worth a walk down its streets. We are talking about the Financial district of Ney York, also known as FiDi. The district comprises the offices and headquarters of many of the city's major financial institutions. Some of the tallest buildings of the city have been built in the district. Discovering the borough, you will admire the One World Trade Centre located where the original Twin Towers stood. It is the 6th tallest building in the world and the tallest of the whole United States. Not only finance in the district where tourists have drawn to several attractions such as museums or shopping centers, a few steps from Time Square.
